Later, throughout educational books and traveling Alex begins to aim for an expansion of the perceptual horizons and an awareness of surrounding world. Since 2003, after finding a way to obtain ayahuasca in his country of residence, Alex starts to prepare and use the traditional medicine of South America himself. In 2005 his first journey to South America starts to Brazil, later, in 2007 to Peru where he meets one of the most respected shamans of Peru – Don Agustin Rivas Vasquez. Under his guide Alex goes through his first experience of amazon herbal diets. After several years of instructional education he decides to purchase a land next to his shaman guide Don Agustin and with his permission starts building his own camp named «Kamalampi” which means “ayahuasca” on one of the local indian dialects. Meanwhile, he continues his shamanic training with Don Lucho Panduro Vasquez. Since 2012 Alex has been continuously traveling around the world, conducting seminars on Amazon shamanism and performing as a musician.

Anael is Peruvian. He was brought to shamanic path because of serious illness – a foot disease leading to its gradual withering away. Unfortunately, local doctors couldn’t identify the name of disease and ways of treatment and had to refuse to help. Having to face disability Anael decides to seek help in amazon jungle. He finds a local healer (curandero) and starts continuous plant diets in the jungle. After all, he conquers the disease. This great event gives a start to a big friendship between Anael and plants. He becomes very passionate about the science of vegetalism (plant healing) under the guide of local healers (curanderos). Knowing the ways of using hundreds of types of selva plants, Anael becomes an expert of collecting, preparing and using therapeutic potions and creating many different healing diets. He took direct part in the creation of «Kamalampi» camp. He is also responsible for many organizational matters.
